Birthday parties!

Friends of ours have two kiddos that share the same birthday but are 3 years apart in age. This year, they had separate parties. Elizabeth was invited to the first -- a Princess party. Caroline and Jonathan were invited to the second -- a wacky, wierd science party. They had lots of fun!! Playing "pin the kiss on the frog" -- the Princess version of pin the tail on the donkey!

On the way home, Elizabeth said, "Look, Mama! I've got my night vision goggles on!" I turned around and here's what I saw....

The next Saturday we headed back to the lab for the science party. We had fun dressing the part! The scientists were excited to get started!

The grand finale was mentos in a coke bottle. The kids loved this!! Thankfully it's done with diet pop outside so there is no sticky, sugary mess to clean up. I believe this shot up taller than the houses!
