Great Wolf Lodge

We were able to get away for a few days for some fun with our crew! It was before Elizabeth was born since we'd had a vacation other than visiting family. We decided to brave the waterpark with 4 little ones at Great Wolf Lodge in Cincinnati. We had so much fun!
The hotel itself was fun with the decor. The lobby had a large display that came to life each night for story time. There was a bit of Mother Nature stuff that we weren't in agreement with, but the kids loved the "show".
We had our own patio to relax on!

We, of course, got a great deal and spent two nights there. Our older two were like little fish, once they warmed up and found out how much fun the waterslides were! The younger two...not so much. Thankfully, with it being at the hotel, we were able to take them back to the room for naps. They also have the Cub Club, which was like a big playroom with all sorts of activities.
This was outside the entrance to the water park. At first, I didn't realize it was a game, but you could hit the balls with your feet and they'd move around. Sort of like pool, but using your feet. The kiddos thought it was great!
The entrance to BearTrack Landing. The giant bucket at the top would fill with water and periodically dump. There was a clanging sound that would let you know to either come get soaked or run for your life!
Caroline's favorite was the wave pool. It would 'howl' before the waves started.

Jonathan liked the baby pool -- it had several variations of slides that ended up in a foot and a half deep pool. They started out on the smaller straight ones and made their way up to the bigger blue twisty ones.
They both tried the bigger tube slides with us along with the lazy river. We would get the double tubes to ride with them or send the two older kids together. My favorite was a slide that was a family slide. You could put upto 6 people into the tube and all go together. Our little ones were not big enough for this, but it was fun for David and I to be able to go with both of the big kids.
The boys.
The girls.... and Matthew! He was not about to get out of the picture.
