Fall Fun!

We had a gorgeous day to visit Appleworks! We make an annual trip over Fall Break with our dear friends. The kids love going to play on the large haybale, go down the ginormous slide, play with the animals and most importantly, get slushies!

Caroline Ruth is well over the 4 foot mark!

Jonathan David is nearly at the 4 foot mark.

Elizabeth Anne is working on reaching the 3 1/2 foot mark.

While Matthew Charles is gaining and nearly ready to surpass his big sister! I have recently been asked if they are twins!


Matthew is such a handsome little boy!

It was such a fun treat for the kiddos to feed this little pony. Elizabeth continues to be fond of horses!

Elizabeth also was fond of this sweet sheep. The sheep must have been feeling under the weather as there was a sign up telling us not to feed them.

Jonathan was giving me his 'tough guy' face -- when deep down he is such a sweet, sweet boy!

Elizabeth is such a fun little girl! She brings us so much joy and laughter.

Caroline is getting so big and grown up. It's hard to believe how quickly the time has passed and she is turning into a nice young lady. More and more we are finding ways that she is like her mother -- which is a blessing and a curse -- she loves to read, is obedient and can be a buddy, yet she is also very stubborn and set in her ways.

A big facination this year was throwing rocks into the creek! We did have one minor issue when Matthew slipped and fell into the water. Thankfully, it was just his feet that got wet!

All the littlest ones loved riding on the 'Cool Bus'. Nate looked super cool hanging out the front window!

These best friends found this adorable little bench that was perfect for them!

Jonathan and his buddy Grant thought this pumpkin house was fun.

Here's the whole gang! This group of kiddos come from 4 families. We all met when we were at a singles group, all got married around the same time and then all had children around the same time. There is one 9 year (Julia), four 8 year olds (Claire, Hannah, Caroline and Joey), one 7 year old(Grace), two 6 year olds (Jonathan and Sam), two 5 year olds (Grant and Sarah), two 4 year old (Elizabeth and Griffin), and one 3 year old (Nate) and one 2 year old (Matthew)! Whew!!
