FATHER'S DAY
We had a Luau for Father's Day to celebrate the special men in our family. We certainly are thankful for Daddy! He works so hard for us and has endured a lot at work. In the course of this absence from blogging, he found out about a position at work that is more techinical, applied for it, interviewed and GOT THE JOB! Yeah! In an uncertain time in our ecomony, jobs are not easy to come by, hence why he was sticking it out in his current position. Not only did he get a new job, but a raise to boot! I am so proud of him! He loves our kiddos so much! They each got to choose and activity to do with Daddy on his special day. Here he is playing the box game with Caroline.
Our festive Luau. With the extreme heat and humidity we've been having, it felt like we were in some tropical place!
A festive little gal taking a refreshing break!
Nope, not a centerpiece, but definitely cute enough to fit the bill! Matthew chilled out in the Bumbo seat for a while. It was so hot, he didn't want to be held too much either.
Andrew loves Elizabeth and does such a great job playing with her when they are together. He managed to hoist her up on the tire all by himself and they had a ball swinging together!
THAT'S HOW WE ROLL...
I like to tease David about his "gangsta" days. He liked MC Hammer back in the day. This is how I found the little two one morning...
Her best stank face.
"Are you talkin' to me?"
Of course, we can't leave out Caroline and Jonathan...
GREENWOOD FREEDOM FESTIVAL
Since I'm such a sucker for free activities, I came across this one that we couldn't pass up! It was the kick off for Greenwood's 4th of July festivities on Friday night (they celebrate the weekend before the 4th). It was a concert at the ampitheater by the Greenwood Community Band with Patriotic music.
But not only was the entertainment free, the FOOD was free too! We dined on hot dogs, chips and queso from Moe's Southwest Grill, cookies and bottled water. I did make some brownies as I didn't know about the cookies. We had a fun time!

Caroline loving on Matthew.
Jonathan is such a happy-go-lucky kind of guy!
The boys...
Our family having fun!
