Back in the good ol' days, David registered for this Ice Shaver for our wedding. He recently found it out in the garage and said we should sell it in a garage sale. I had other thoughts in mind....what kid doesn't love a snow cone?
I had 2 bottles of flavored syrup in the cupboard and yesterday, we enjoyed our first snow cones of the summer. We had a busy day with lots of friends over yesterday, so our first attempt at snow cones was with our cousins. They were a big hit and our older two kids requested them again today! I'm thankful for afternoon nap time for the two little ones and some time with just the older two kiddos -- or even some time for myself since they play together nicely most days.
Mmmmm....cherry snow cones! Not quite the same as frozen cherry drinks from the red gas station, but they are pretty good!
