I was supposed to give to my family: four heart sugar cookies.
Let me explain....so, I originally was going to make sugar cookies today for the fourth day, but as it turned out due to a pitch-in at David's work yesterday, we became to proud receipients of a half full container of chocolate chip cookies (probably close to a dozen?), one and a half containers of blue frosted sugar cookies (yep, another dozen), and a Colts decorated cookie (perfect for tomorrow and our Super Bowl Colts!!). And, we also recieved a large heart shaped chocolate chip cookie from his sister (about the same size as the Colts cookie!) and cupcakes from his parents (one for each of us -- so super yummy!), so with all that stacked on the counter....it made NO sense to make even more cookies. I explained all this to the children and it didn't seem to bother them as long as they still got to eat cookies today -- which they did!!!
Guess I should have included a picture of all the sugary goodness...but too bad, I'm not going to do it :)
