Happy 4th of July!

We celebrated our Independence Day with our family at the Gilmore's. They are great hosts and we had lots of fun. They had games for all ages, great food and a fantastic firework display. Who needs the downtown display when their neighbor show is not too shabby?!?
Matthew was feeling (and looking) big while he was drinking out of his star straw.
David perfecting his watermelon seed spitting form. It was a real official competition with a tape measure lining the driveway and coins to mark each person's farthest seed.
More and more we are seeing Matthew's character come out. We feel that he's taking after his red-headed sister and going to keep us on our toes! He's pretty cute, regardless!
Jonathan enjoyed spending time with the 4-legged friends. He and Dulce were chillin' watching an intense cornhole game.
Then he became the master dogwalker. Even though Rascal is small in size, he doesn't feel that way when he sees other larger dogs.
Caroline taking a break from the croquet game.
Our own firecracker!
After a full day of fun and sun, Jonathan decided to bypass the fireworks for a bit of shut-eye. He curled up in the Daddy recliner for a little snooze.
