Tangled

Over spring break, we were introduced to our little girl's latest obsession -- Tangled, the latest Disney take on the classic Rapunzel story. We've been having a beautiful week here, so I decided to take the kiddos out to lunch and have time at the park before getting Jonathan to school. It's that time of year when I'm ready for school to be finished as it's not as much fun anymore getting Jonathan to school every day -- just 7 more days, in case you were wondering...not that I'm counting!!

Anyway, the kiddos love to play "Tangled" and our speech therapist gave me the greatest idea to help Elizabeth with her 70 feet of hair. She loved it and being the great mom that I am, I let her go out in public looking this way!
At the park, she carefully wadded up her hair and carried it around so it wouldn't get dirty. We used a stretchy headband and a scarf to give her this lovely look.

Meanwhile, the boys were having a wonderful time as we had the playground all to ourselves!

Spiral slides are the coolest. Matthew has been our youngest for mastering climbing and sliding -- no fear, I tell you!

Protecting the hair, at all costs, all the time!

Jonathan felt big -- and rightly so! He is nearly a first grader! It has been spirit week at school and they were able to purchase sunglasses to wear on the last day.

I love her leg-pop on this one -- isn't that how all princesses stand?!

Brothers and best buds. Most days, I think Matthew thinks he is 6 just like his big brother. Most people also think he is older than he is due to him being just slightly smaller than his older sister. I have to remind myself sometimes that he is just 2...

My three amigos!

Rapunzel casting down her long lovely locks...

to Flynn Ryder. He was chanting, "Rapunzel, Rapunzel throw down your hair so I can climb the golden stairs!"

I had asked Matthew a question and he said, "uh, I don't know!" Love him!

Some people came and were playing on the tennis courts -- to say they were playing tennis would have been an overstatement!! The boys were enthralled and I loved this shot of them watching.

Three of the (four) most incredible, fun-loving children I know!
