There was so much water that it was flowing like a river down the road!
The back corner of our yard became Lake Cribbs. We'd just bought new sand for the sandbox, but hadn't put it in yet. Good thing since most of what was in there was displaced!

Good thing since most of what was in there was displaced!Thanks to some over-zealous chipmunks that decided to nest and make it look like swiss cheese in the front of our house, we had water abundantly leaking into the basement yesterday. We've almost gotten to the point where we don't have much to get up off the floor, except for a few items in the playroom and my scrapbook area. At one point, Caroline thought it would be great fun to "splash in the puddle" in the basement. I was not happy since we still had power and the thought of electrocution crossed my mind! All were safely tucked into bed at the end of the day and now we just need to dry out!
We are now the proud owners of not one, not two, but 3 shop vacs!! And yes, they all suck -- water that is -- rather well!
