At the first sign of warmer weather, the kids wanted to get out their new fishing poles (or pools as Elizabeth calls them!) They received them as Christmas presents and have been waiting for it to be warm enough to use them since they've been deemed an 'outdoor' toy.
We told the kids we'd get out the poles after we took a walk down to the creek at the end of our street. The creek is a highlight for them as they like to throw rocks, leaves or as was the case this particular day, snowballs into the water. Such a funny concept of making snowballs on a warm, sunny day!
Daddy got out his fishing pole to help show the kiddos how to cast in the driveway.
Even Elizabeth was successful in casting on her Princess pole.
Jonathan's pole is bigger than the girls and he feels like an expert since he has 'experience' fishing. He is able to cast his nearly the entire driveway!
