Where has the summer gone?? It seems like it was just yesterday we were finishing up Caroline's 1st grade year and looking forward to summer. Now, we've got 2nd grade and a second student super excited about the first day of school!
To celebrate our last full day of staycation together, we headed to the local attraction we love called 'Rascal's'. This fun filled place is a family favorite -- and it's where David and I had our first date!

Caroline and I on the indoor track. We had to get a second car on this race as our first one seemed to have a flat tire. It was really a bumpy ride!

David and Jonathan getting ready to ride.

Two big cheesers! Could they be any cuter?!?

Jonathan and I getting ready for our first race outside. It wasn't very busy and to optimize our 2 hour ride package, we'd ride with two while two sat on a bench watching. We were so proud of how obedient the kiddos were! We also were able to mix it up so we all rode together on all the rides.

Elizabeth was so fun to ride with. She would wave everytime she'd see you. She also seemed to like to place her sweet little hand on our leg. She said that Rascal's was her 'fabrite' and she'd like to go there 'ebby day.'

Caroline and Matthew did such a great job watching us. The workers must have forgotten how long we were on the track because it seemed like we got a 15 minute ride!!
This was Matthew's first go-kart experience. He seemed to enjoy it! As he rode, he would slide farther and farther down in the seat. Didn't seem to bother him. I loved how he kept his chubby hand gripping the side of the cart!

After we got done with the go-karts and bumper boats, we also got a game of duckpin bowling. Matthew and Elizabeth were so adorably sweet!

Jonathan was distracted by the cartoons playing on the big screens right above the bowling games, but he really had good form. Guess all the work on the Wii bowling is paying off!

Caroline's form needs a little more work as she was opting for Granny style. Thankfully, we opted to have the bumpers up for all of us or else it would have not been near as much fun.

After Rascal's, we headed to another favorite -- Pizza King Station. It's such a fun place. They deliver the drinks on a train! The pizza is pretty good, too!
