We have a new game, called Talk-a-Bowl, that provides us with questions to ask while at the dinner table. One of them was: "What is something you would like to learn how to make?" Jonathan answered, "Muffins." The next morning, we had a marathon muffin making session! We made 4 different kinds: Double Chocolate, Chocolate Chip, Bluberry Strusel and Almond Poppyseed. Jonathan and I talked about how we use math (his favorite subject) to cook and bake. He was a great helper! The kiddos loved sitting in front of the oven watching them rise up. We sampled all of them and they were delicious! We put several bags with a variety of muffins in the freezer for us to enjoy at another time.
