We've had a tradition (can you believe that?!?!) of having a Sesame Street themed birthday cake for our kiddos 2nd birthday. In the beginning, we didn't realize just how many of these parties we'd be having! Growing up, I loved to watch Sesame Street. In fact, I still enjoy watching it with my kiddos!
We started out in 2005 with Bert and Ernie for Caroline.
What a pretty birthday girl!!
Following, in November 2006, Elmo and Big Bird celebrated with us.
Caroline, our sweet tooth, couldn't keep her eyes off of the cakes!! It seems like forever ago when Jonathan was that little!
We then had Abby Cadabby join us for Elizabeth's 2nd birthday in 2009! She is relatively new to the Sesame Street crew.
Our sweet little red-head was pretty excited about her cake!
For our last party in November 2010, we decided to have a Cookie Monster cake. 
Matthew likes to call him "Tookie".... and a sweet "tookie" he is!!
Traditions are something that we are very fond of. I am sad to see this milestone passed in each one of our children's lives. The age of two presents lots of challenges, yet it's lots of fun too, as they begin to explore and become able to do more for themselves.
