We started off our 4 day birthday celebration for 2 little boys tonight with a cowboy party. We'd invited our family over to the Stop 13 Ranch for Cowboy pizza (and a few other varieties) and a choice of Cowboy Hat or Boot cake!

These cake were amazingly easy (remembering how I nearly had a mental breakdown with last years cake along with being just a few days before giving birth to our fourth child...) I decided to make cupcake cakes. I may never go back to other styles of cakes again!

We'd tried to have the boys dress in cowboy attire, but here's what became of Jonathan. He took the bandana off his hat and wore it more like he was a gang member! He also lost his cowboy shirt somewhere along the way. It was unseasonably warm here today and the kiddos were in shorts!!

Jonathan is still a big fan of 'CARS' and McQueen. He got another McQueen car -- that lights up and makes sounds. Thanks, Allison and Paul!!

Matthew did really well with his first big celebration! He was interested in opening presents. He got his very own Raggety Ann and Andy set. Grammy has made them for each of the grandkids.

Such a cutie!!

Carefully touching the tissue paper...deciding if he wanted to take it out.

Jonathan received this tool bench. It's a Craftsman. Guess it's guaranteed for life... I appreciate toys that are suitable for all my kiddos to play with together. We were glad that the kiddos nearly 90 year old Great Papa was able to join us!
Singing 'Happy Birthday' with the birthday boys.
Matthew did really well with his cake. He politely ate it and didn't make too much of a mess!
Brothers and Best Friends!!!
