My Sweet Boy

We picked up some wierd virus this weekend that caused our kids to run a fever, be cuddly and tired. Caroline napped on Saturday and Jonathan took 2 naps on Sunday. Although, when David said something to him about taking two naps, his response was, "no I didn't!" To top off our weekend, he got sick in the middle of the night. He looked so peaceful (and big!) when he was napping on the couch.

I debated whether to send Caroline to school today, but she felt she was up for it. On our way to school, we heard something on the radio about President Obama. Jonathan piped up and said, "that's the church where we went one time when you voted" as we drove out our street. Caroline added, "yeah, but Mama voted for President George." My reply was yes, we did vote for Bush, but he didn't win, we need to be supportive of Obama, pray for him and our country, etc. A few moments later, Jonathan said, "Maybe President George didn't run fast enough and that was why he didn't win!" Ah, the mind of a 4 year old is full of all sorts of wisdom! It made me smile to see how his little mind was working.
