This 'n' that

You may have thought that we'd fallen off the face of the earth....but no, we didn't!

We did have an overnight excursion to the great state of Ohio during the weekend for a family shower. Bridal shower, that is! We got to meet some of the newest extended Cribbs' ladies that will be joining the family this summer.

The kids travelled well and we had a good trip. We've found this really good park that is along the way that worked out to be a good stopping point for me to feed Matthew.

Here are Matthew's deluxe accomodations for the night. Yes, that really is my suitcase that he is sleeping in!

I spent most of Sunday recouperating by taking not just one, but TWO naps! It didn't help that Caroline woke up sick on Saturday morning. By the time we got home, her temperature was 103! Took her into the Take Care clinic at Walgreens and she was diagnosed with bronchitis. She's been home from school the past two days, but I think she'll be going back tomorrow.

I'd been thinking that Matthew wasn't going to get the long eyelash gene that the other three have inherited from their Daddy....from the looks of this picture, he's got them now!

Also, I've have to keep you posted, but I've recently been interviewed by a local paper on tips for saving money at the grocery store. The photographer came today to take pictures of me making dinner. In order to see it online, you have to have a paid subscription. I'll try to get a copy and see if I can scan it or take a picture so all my faithful followers (who don't live locally) can see my itty bitty bit of stardom!
