All about Caroline

Sometimes it's nice to have some peace and quiet while the kids are playing nicely together.... other times I begin to wonder what they are up to if it's been quiet for too long. One day last week, Jonathan and Caroline were playing together nicely and when I came down to the computer, here's what I found:
In case you can't read it:
My name is Caroline
My birthday is May 19
My school's name is (guess she couldn't spell it)
My teacher's name is M (she later told me she didn't know how to spell Miss Parrish)
My pet's name is Prenses (really was Princess, but she is no longer with us)
My favorite movie is
My favorite book is I dont no (this is one of my favorites!)
My favorite color is (she said she didn't know how to spell all of them, but her favorite is pink)
My favorite holiday is 2 (not sure what this is!)
My favorite food is cand (should be candy -- and this is no joke! The child would eat candy all day long if we'd let her!)
My best friend's name is Jaliu (should be Julia, but I wasn't sure as she has another friend Jalen)

How fun! What a great memory for her to look back on someday! They teach the D'Nealian handwriting at school. It's supposed to help when they learn cursive writing, but I think it's rather painful with all the monkey tails!

  1. This is too cute! Love that you got a picture of it so she can see it years down the road! Can't believe how grown up she is becoming. Time flies, doesn't it? I was just thinking about you this morning, wondering how your world is with 4 now and praying for you. Not sure why your name came up during my devotions but you just never know why God lays someone on your heart! :) Have a great day and take care!! Shelly

  2. I'm not a fan of the D'Nealian either. They use it here in our school system. I teach the other to Gabby. It was good to read your comments. I'm so excited about my new camera and it does have a lot of bells and whistles to learn. It was very sweet of Caroline to send Gabby a card. She was very excited about it. :) We miss you all!!
