Three Months for all

Being as I'm the 5th child in my family and know that there are not many pictures of me as a baby (even though my siblings all claim that I was spoiled and I gladly admit that I was, besides, they wore my parents out. I can't help that I was a "good" child!), I am keenly aware of things that I did for each child at different stages of their development. I'm trying very hard to make sure that I don't fall into the subsequent child syndrome. I think this is getting harder and harder, but I'm thankful that I've been pretty good at documenting things through their baby books and scrapbooks.

So, here's the latest "comparison" pictures. I thought about putting the pictures in random order to see if you can determine which child is which, but in my opinion, I think they all look pretty distinct and it wouldn't be much of a game. I know I'm pretty anal at times....we'd been given some onesies in a pattern that came in pink, blue and green. Caroline has always looked good in pink, Jonathan shines in blue and Elizabeth, not so good in pink, but more so in green.

Caroline Ruth - 3 months - August 2003Jonathan David - 3 months - February 2005 (although his didn't actually take place until late March!)
Elizabeth Anne - 3 months - July 2007
Matthew Charles - 3 months - February 2009

They all seem to have the big belly with the beginnings of chunky legs. Other similarities of our kiddos that I find interesting: both girls had hemangenomias (red birth marks) on their heads, both boy have had brown mole birthmarks on their right knees. Jonathan's birthmark was removed in March 2007. I am planning to talk to the pediatrician next month to determine if we need to follow the same option with Matthew. His is not near as large. One other interesting fact: I have a similar brown mole birthmark on my right leg...and so did my mom!
