Three Months

Doesn't that just make you smile?!? I love the gummy grins that we've been getting lately from Matthew. He's beginning to show us glimpses of his personality as it's developing. I find it amazing that I seem to fall more in love with him every day. As a mom, you don' t think you can love more than one kid, but I'm lucky enough to get to love 4 special little people that God has given to our family.

Matthew is 3 months old today. I'm sure I sound like a broken record, but how is that possible?!? He weighed in at 13 lbs. 14 oz. and 26 1/2" long. He's a little smaller than our other ones (they were all 14+ lbs at 3 months) but if I measured him correctly, he's about an inch longer. Looks like he's shaping up to be our string bean! I'm so thankful that I've been faithful in keeping calendars for each kiddos first year. Makes it so much easier to look back and see the development. I probably should have just let you think that I had this incredible memory that I was able to keep all the baby facts of my other kids in my head... just keeping it real.

We are having fun as Matthew is beginning to be a little more social -- babies are pretty anti-social for those first couple of months! He's beginning to "talk" a little more with us. That in itself is a challenge as we have 3 big talkers already! He's going to be fighting to get some air time when he does get older and more verbal. (I'm now realizing why Elizabeth's volume is LOUD...)
