Valentine's Party - School

Today was Caroline's Valentine Party at school. I was excited to be able to be in her class again. It worked out that I was able to take the younger 3 kiddos with me. She's only got 11 classmates, so the teacher didn't care if I added a few more. Another mom had her daughter there too. They made a heart craft where they pressed their fingerprints into a heart shape. Caroline wanted to give hers to Elizabeth -- love the sisterly love! Jonathan wasn't too excited about the craft...

Jonathan did feel pretty big and fit in well. He didn't participate in any of the games, but sat with Mrs. Noland - the teacher's aide. He was excited that there was another Jonathan in the class!

My part in the party this time was games. We did a bean bag relay race. It was fun. The kids were a bit rough and spilled the beans out of the heart! They seemed to have as much fun cleaning up the beans as they did doing the race!

They had a snack and then we played Hulabaloo. It's a great game! It teaches colors, shapes, things and it's short enough to keep their attention. Elizabeth pretty much stayed by myside throughout the party. She was definitely ready for a nap when we got home! Matthew also slept through most of the party. Miss Parrish was impressed at how well behaved my kiddos were -- me too!
